FeatherStone Is Now Writing Home Appreciation Call Options

FeatherStone is now writing (selling) home appreciation call options against its stabilized SFR equity positions on portfolios being held for rental securitization.

Atlanta, GA – December 15, 2014 – For the past year the FEATHERSTONE group of companies has worked to strengthen its position in the single-family rental securitization space by expanding within three fundamental areas. The first area was to make more efficient the consolidation of small and midsized companies that owned single family rental properties into larger offerings. The second area was to establish a Property Management Company to serve the acquired properties and perform all administration and operational functions. The third area is the establishment of a broker-dealer that will structure, underwrite and market our securitized product.

FEATHERSTONE’s securitized rental product is divided into three categories; debt placement through utilization of a 144A offering, equity placement through the writing of call options and residual cash flow placement by way of a separate offering.

FILP is now writing (selling) home appreciation call options against its stabilized SFR equity positions on portfolios being held for rental securitization.
